Nokia 1100 | Nokia 2300 LCD Lights Problem Repair

The old Nokia phones like the Nokia 1100 and the Nokia 2300 use an external lamp to lighting the LCD. Thus, there are often occur lights problems to the old Nokia phones. The LCD can display the picture but the lights not working, so the screen dark visible. Here, mobile repair share the Nokia 1100 and the Nokia 2300 lights problem.

The picture above show you how to make a bypass way from the battery connector to the power amplifier IC. The tricks above can be done if there are a broken path or the connection quality is bad. Before you do that tricks, first thing you have to do is check the network detection manually. You can do it from phone setting menu on your Nokia 1100 and Nokia 2300, then you enter to the network menu. Change it to manual and look if the phone can detect the network? If the answer is yes, it mean the problem occur on the power amplifier series, but if the answer is no, it mean that the problem occur on the RF series. Thanks and hopefully useful.

Nokia 1100 | Nokia 2300 Local Mode Problem Repair

Like other Nokia local mode problem, to repair the Nokia 1100 and the Nokia 2300 local mode, we have to remove a component. The component location is as shown with the picture below.

In the picture above, you can see that the location of the resistor is near the CPU and UEM IC. Be careful when you remove this part because if too hot, you can make the CPU damaged and the phone will be dead.

Nokia 1100 | 2300 Insert Simcard Ways Repair Guide

Insert SIM card often occur to the mobile phone, and it can caused by any reasons. Here, mobile repair share about how to repair the Nokia 1100 and Nokia 2300 insert SIM card problem. We have two picture guide, here are the picture.

Like other parts that use a connector to connect to the PCB board, when you found a problem to that parts, first you have to check the connector condition before doing more step. If the connector installed correctly and the physical condition is still good, then you check the path. The picture number one above show you the SIM card path, check them one by one and make a jumper if there is a broken path. The picture number two show you the SIM card driver. It usually made from a glass material and the size is quite small. If there are no broken path, it possible the damage occur in this driver. Replace it with the new one, but if you can not find the new driver, you can make a jumper like showed with the picture number two above, but I didn't recommend it for you because it quite hard to do.
